Gonzalez v. Apttus Corporation
Case Description
- Valerian Law represents a female technology consultant who alleges gender-based pay disparities at Apttus Corporation, now called Conga. In Plaintiff’s federal court complaint, we alleged that she was paid $40,000 to $80,000 less than men doing the same work at Apttus. According to Plaintiff, Apttus refused to consider hiring her at the appropriate level and instead offered her a lower-level position due to her gender and prior earnings. She vocally objected to the pay disparities and other under-leveling. But instead of correcting the discriminatory practices, Apttus retaliated against Plaintiff by further denying her promotions and greater pay. Along the way, she learned that other female employees also were paid less than their male peers. Valerian Law is proud to represent Gonzalez in seeking gender justice and equal pay.
